We have not cruises for six years and things have changed. Formal night was not very formal. I did see anyone with a tux. I do not know if they were on the ship. One passenger had a small dog and was not a service animal. There have been a lot of changes since our last cruise and I do no think it has been for the better. We will have very hard if we are going to cruise anymore

Cruising is what you make of it. Be ready for people from all over the world aboard cause they will be there. If they don't reply to you they prob don't speak your language. Relax explore and eat.. Enjoy..

Make sure you try new things on this ship and catch all the shows and make reservations ahead of time.

If you think you'll drink between 4-6+ drinks per day, purchase the delux drink package in cruise planner. It looks pricey but cocktails are $15 and beers are $8-9, you'll at worst break even with the package. If you enjoy steak, eat at Chops Grille one night for dinner. If you want to try Flowrider, do it on a port day or in the morning when there's less people in line to do it.

Be aware that the buffet section closes during the day and early at night. This is unlike other ships where the buffet remains open 24 hours or late.

Download the Royal Caribbean app ahead of time and play with it a lot before your trip. There are deck plans available on the app which will help orient you to the ship before you arrive. It is also an awesome tool to prebook dinners and shows. Note it is really important to book your dinners and shows in advance on this ship. There are so many people trying to go to the shows on a stand-by basis. You'll save yourself a lot of frustration if you prebook. I realize this takes some of the spontaneity out of the trip but it'll be worth it for you in the long run. The same holds true for "my time" dining. If you've elected to use "my time" dining, you'll still want to have a reservation in the system to save yourself some frustration and long lines. Note that you can always cancel, but it's best to have them in advance.

Be sure you book your entertainment, shows, etc., prior to sailing. If you fail to do so, you probably won’t get in.

Balcony over central park is a little over rated. Would ha have been better to have balcony over the ocean.
