Review summary

7 night cruise was shortened to 3 nights. Ship sailed much below capacity. Overall it was a good experience. Disappointed with our room steward and the buffet options. Enjoyed the pools, entertainment, and less busy ship.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Cruise was just over 50% capacity, so nothing was really too crowded. At full capacity, things may be very different.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
buffet lacked variety for breakfast and lunch. Very few late night options (after 10pm). Specialty dining menu did not match the menu in the mobile app.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pools were excellent. Height restrictions in kids area was inconsistently enforced.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
entertainment was excellent

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Room steward did not want to provide a pen or extra blanket.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Can be tricky to get from point A to B even if they seem close due to the layout of the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Nice not to carry luggage through customs

Not much they could do on the itinerary part. Gotta keep crew safe to.

Btw... royal took VERY good care of us, and between the refunds and cruise credits, we basically got a 3 day cruise for free!!

I was on this same cruise... and completely give Royal and the Harmony 5 stars!! Our ocean balcony room stewart was awesome in every way!! I thought the buffet was excellent, with great options and great service!! As for the ship layout... if you dont know the Oasis class ships, they can be a bit overwhelming to newbies. But they are the most amazing ships out there!!🙂

bummer :( 3 nights def not enough to get real feel of everything that ship has to offer. Hoping you had travel insurance. They reimburse you for whatever cruiseline does not in event like this.
