DON'T DRINK THE SHIPS WATER . . . YOU'RE NOT IN THE GOOD OLE USA ONCE YOU STEP ON BOARD. I GOT SICK THE SECOND DAY WITH SEVERE DIAREHHA AND FEELING LIKE I WAS DIEING. THEY NICKEL AND DIME YOU TO DEATH WITH ADDED FEES SUCH AS ROOM SERVICE IS A FEE OF $7.95 PLUS 18% !!! ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ASSED A 18% GRATUITY AS WELL. WE PAID AN EXTRA $500.00 IN MISCELLANEOUS FEES! THEN CHECKING OVER THE BILL FOUND SEVERAL OVERCHARGES!!! THIS WASN'T MY FIRST CRUISE, HOWEVER, AFTER THIS ONE I WILL NEVER CRUISE AGAIN. THE USA HAS MUCH MORE TO OFFER ESPECIALLY AT AROUND $10,000.00 FOR MY WIFE AND MYSELF TO STAY IN A SUITE FOR A 7 NIGHT CRUISE (BOILS DOWN TO FIVE DAYS). RUNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!

We cruised with rccl last week, in a suite. Room service is free with a suite? The 18% gratuity is across the board for all charges and well advertised. I'm not sure what else you could have been charged for? I agree that it is important to monitor your purchases as you go so you aren't suprised in the end. I have been on 18 cruises and always drink the water. I have never had an issue.

If it was not your first cruise the gratuities should have been expected. I am sorry you got sick bit seriously doubt the ships water was the cause or there would be numerous complaints of same issue.

I did a behind the scenes tour on the Allure and the water is all processed ocean water I believe. Definitely not from the water otherwise thousands of people would be sick every week.

They tell you what is included, and what is included. You can look on the tv in your room and see your account. Every time you use your sea pass card. People we were with had some charges they did not make, and it was taken care of . If you drink a lot of alcohol or beverages there are packages you can purchase and save money.

It wasn't the water on the ship. That water is purified by reverse osmosis. It's cleaner than US water. All of the mainstream cruiselines these days charge the same or comparable fees.

500.00 for misc hummm sounds like you bought too much, lol we have done three cruises and have never had even ten dollars misc! You can’t be charged 500.00 misc and not know what it’s for. We only put 200.00-300.00 on our OBC at a time and we Always know what we spend so maybe you just didn’t keep a good eye on your spending. And all cruise ships have 18% gratuity on Everything you buy on ship. Maybe next cruise get a cheaper room or just go to Florida lol

Never had an issue drinking the water from the ship! As for the fees that is pretty normal for most cruise lines. Cruising is not for everyone, but we love it!

Do your homework and always stay within your budget but enjoy yourself don’t let the small things ruin your vacation have a nice cruise next time I love to cruise

Not a main stream cruise line out there that doesn’t add gratuity to each drink. The room service fee is becoming more and more common (outside of breakfast orders). Maybe cruising just isn’t for you. And BTW no one gives a flip how much you paid for your accommodations.

Sorry to hear that. We’ve cruised more than a few times and I always drink the ships water. Never had a problem. I just cruised Harmony in April and didn’t have a problem. Enjoy your cruise MTcruisers, Harmony’s a beauty 🛳🎉🥂

Sorry, to hear about your bad cruise. Just got off Harmony last week, will a large group. Everyone had water will dinner and through out the trip,no problem. You sure it was from the water.
