Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Usually had breakfast in the Solarium which was good. Same menu each day. Lunch and Dinner in the Main Dining Room. Surprised with the quality and service in the MDR. Fresh variety of fish choices every day. We did have my wife's birthday dinner at 150 Central Park. It was wonderful. Lobster Gnocchi and Tuna Tartare were fresh and tasty. 18oz Roast Tenderloin of Beef For Two was a lot of food and great quality. We did not tell the staff about her birthday, but they must of known from the computer and sang Happy birthday with candle in a Bittersweet Chocolate Bourbon Tart. This was nice. Overall the food was Excellent during our cruise.

Cabin / Stateroom

I was very surprised the the beds were very comfortable. Recently had major back surgery at the end of November 2017. Nice room and was always clean.

Ship tip

We have mild rough seas most of the sailing. Room 14550 was in front and felt the rolling back and forth. We did have ScopDerm patches without any problems with seasick. Large ship to walk the length. I would pay extra to get a room Mid-ship.

Ports of call

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

Ours was the only ship in this port. Got off early and went to Columbus Cove beach. Got a nice spot under a tree with shade. And then it got VERY crowded. Food at the BBQ was good and tasty.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
No problems at all
