I was worried about the cruise since there had been two hurricanes but it turned out great. I was disappointed that we did not get to go to San Juan and St. Maarten but I mostly cared about being on the ship.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We arrived early at the port and were checked in and on the ship by 10:40 a.m. That was the earliest I have ever gotten on the ship. Check in was a breeze.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We ate in the dining room every night except one and that night we ate in the Windjammer. The food was excellent. I was happy that they had shrimp cocktail every night in the dining room. We ate lunch in the dining room on sea days and it was ok. We never ate in a specialty restaurant.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The pools were pretty crowded on sea days but that was to be expected with 6,400 passengers on board.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The shows were good but the aqua show was awesome! I have been on the Oasis and the Allure and loved the aqua shows and that is one reason why I wanted to sail on the Harmony of the Seas.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Our cabin steward, Stanley, did an excellent job of keeping us supplied with fresh towels, ice, and keeping our stateroom clean. The wait staff in the dining room was very good as well as those in the Windjammer.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I love this ship! Everything was so clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin was a very good size and we had an upgrade of an 80 sq. foot balcony instead of a 50 sq. foot. I thought the beds were a little hard. There was ample closet space and the room was decorated very nice.
Ship tip
Enjoy all of it. Central Park is a great place for a little peace and quiet. There is so much to see and do.
Nice cruiser attitude! We cruise for the shipboard experience. The ports of call are little bonuses or presents awaiting to be discovered. A supplement to the cruise itself.
