Review summary

Wonderland Restaurant and Chefs Table were very enjoyable with excellent food. Jamie’s has excellent food as well. We splurged this trip and got a suite with friends...the suite was worth it. We decided to try a week of being catered to (something we aren’t used to) so paid extra for Star Class and it was a huge mistake. Other than getting the drink and specialty dining package it was very disappointing. I would never suggest Star Class with a personal Royal Genie.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Specialty restaurants were amazing, never went to the main dining room, buffet was too crowded and finding a seat was nearly impossible.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Abyss was fun as well as the slides.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Lots of great choices. Loved Grease! Ice skating and Aqua Theater shows were very good, Columbus was good, not great (imo) comedy was good as well.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Hate to give a 3 but some areas need improvement. Our room steward was good and very nice. Most of the bartenders were good but a few bars were too slow. Waiters were very good in the specialty restaurants and Coastal Kitchen.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
No complaints...just wish ships provided seat covers in the public restrooms.

Cabin / Stateroom

Very nice cabin. The second bedroom had pull down bunks (we didn’t use them) but I’d hate to be sleeping in the bed beneath as you have very little room to get in and out of bed. Also, with no window and the door shut would make it tough for me to sleep. Would prefer a coffee maker vs an espresso machine.During

Ship tip

During busy times (getting on and off at ports, after entertainment) the elevators fill up quickly. If you must take an elevator get on any with space whether it is going up or down, enjoys the people. We waited for five elevators once just to find space then we got smart and Just on any with room...you will generally make it to your floor quicker. Remember, this is for peak elevator use only.

Ports of call
