This was our first cruise outside of Oasis Class ships. This should be a $299 cruise based on size and amenities on ship and food quality. Even with less than 3k people , My time dining was difficult to schedule and windjammer could barely get a table to sit at times.
Embarkation
2 out of 5
Embarkation went smoothly and quick
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Windjammer was horrible; stale food, food didn't taste fresh. Main dining was great every night.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Not much to do on this ship. Just rock climbing wall and pung pong tables that wind kept blowing balls away.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Entertainment was mediocre, comedy show was good. Microphone in the lounge was not good so hard to hear hosts.
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
Room steward was great, most dining staff was good too.
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
Being oldest ship, I was surprised it's renovation was kept up. Seemed clean and updated. Nice decor.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Room was decent, could use wall decor. I slept well even on 3rd deck
I’m looking forward to sailing on the Grandeur for the first time. We enjoy the smaller ships without all the bells and whistles, and NEVER eat in the Windjammer. Note your star ratings don’t really match your comments.
