This cruise was just ok. Won't go on the Grandeur of the Seas again. Too old. Even some of the staff mentioned they were looking to transfer to other ships because this one was just too old and too much work.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
2 out of 5
The best dish was the Chicken Marsala. We don't have the drink pkg. The drinks were very weak. Our Mudslides were like drinking chocolate milk. but they cost $4. Only 1 ice cream machine for 3,000 people and then it broke down!
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
Most activities were held in the Centrum on Deck 4. There isn't much setting, so a few people had to sit on Deck 5 and 6. These events would have been better attended in the Pacificia Lounge where there is more room. There were name the tune events and a few competition games. Although we loved the Cruise Director, there could have been more activities.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Most of the Shows were really good. The dancers were awesome and the Elton John show was fabulous. The Comedian was BORING at all 3 shows.
Children's Programs
no kids.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Our room steward come promptly every morning, but we never got the extra towels we asked for and only 1 bar of soap for 2 for the week. And it is the ONLY cruise we have only had 2 towel animals in our room to greet us. And they disappeared the next day. The dining room at night was good. The wait staff in the morning didn't seem very happy and seemed they didn't want to be bothered. The buffet was good, but crowded and the coffee was very weak.
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
This is an OLD ship. I was glad most events and dining was on Deck, 4,5 or 6. The wifi was pretty much non existent. The beds are rock hard. The diningroom Sound system is terrible. Some rooms were warm and some were so cold we needed a sweater.
Cabin / Stateroom

Ocean view. Clean. Bed was rock hard. No hot water in the sink till after 10 am
Ship tip
Don't waste your money on the wifi package. Don't expect your drinks to have much alcohol.
The excursion dept told us if we didn't pay for a lounger we would have to look for a bench to sit on. Biggest waste of $60! There were at least 200 nice lounge chairs with umbrellas, some under trees for FREE! The water either thick with sea weed or the waves were so strong they knocked you over. Bring water shoes to finagle the rocks on your way into the water.
