Review summary

We did enjoy everything this boat offered. Food was yummy, all of the staff were wonderful and polite to deal with. We booked the Sloth, Monkey and Iguana tour in Roatan, Honduras through but was not thrilled about the directions given on paperwork to find "Craig". We had to travel out of the gated port area where so many other tour companies where yelling at you to pay for a tour with them. Outside of the gate was super sketchy as well. Once we met with "Craig" we were swept away in a van with 10 other people for our tour. Please give Kembror, our driver/tour guide a raise, bonus or something special. He did an AMAZING job driving us around to our tours and was super friendly. We really enjoyed working with him on this tour. He went above and beyond what any of us asked of him when it came to making a few other stops on our journey. He was so great!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was delish! Main dining was very nice and the Windjammer had a great selection of food. All was very tasty. Service was top notch as well. All staff was super nice and professional.

Onboard Activities

The pool was nice but it was small. There were 4 hot tubs which were nice. But it can get crowded easily. There was more than enough lounge chairs.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We watched a Broadway show one night but they showcased older Broadway shows that my group was not familiar with. But the dancers were fantastic! The singing was great as well. We did see a juggler who was great and was really funny. Our 8 and 10 year old really enjoyed him. T

Children's Programs

The kids club was nice. Our 8 year old had a great time when we let her up there about 4 times through our trip. They colored, played and watched movies. The staff was super nice and very informative. They had a decent selection of kid friendly movies in the Pallidum and pool deck.

Service and Staff

Our room stewards did a great job making our beds and giving us fresh towels when we needed. Umesh, David & Richard at the Pool Bar were amazing. They were fun and great to chat with. They all remembered what we all drank anytime we stopped by for a drink. They will treat you right. Jeffery and Fredi at the Scooner Bar were just as wonderful and a delight to engage with. They were great to chat with and always remembered our drinks as well. Our timed dining with Clairese and Kaneshia was fabulous! They were sweet and attentive and very funny. We had a great time every night with these ladies. All of the staff we encountered were great to work with.

Ship Quality

The cleaning staff were always cleaning something when we would move around the boat. Cleaning the stair banisters, elevator buttons, sweeping or vacuuming some place but they were never in the way. We totally respected them and their jobs to keep this boat clean for us guests.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
My only issue with the room was the A/C. It always seemed warm. I understand that this is an older ship so that might play a part in why it didn't cool down enough for us. Otherwise the room was fine. Beds were ok. They could use newer beds. But it worked just for us to sleep in.

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

This is a developing country. The port is small but they were excavating to build more shops there. On our tour drive to the Sloth encounter we noticed that this island is very dirty and sad. There was trash in all of the water ways we passed by. The natives kept telling us to come back and "visit their beautiful country" but with everything we seen...we won't be going back. All of the people were super nice but it is a very trashy island.

Belize City, Belize

The people here were also very nice and friendly but this is also a dirty location. We enjoyed the small boat ride to their small port but outside of that and the ride to the ruins, this is another sad country. But I would come back to this one over Roatan, Honduras.
