Our first time cruising with Royal Caribbean was a great experience. Looking forward to booking another.
Embarkation

A very welcoming and smooth process.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
We ate dinner every night in the main dining room. Our waiters, Jose and Raymond, were wonderful. The food was good, some dishes better than others, but we never had anything we didn't like. We ate breakfast and lunch at the buffet and were always pleased with the selections.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
This area is rather subjective due to everyone's tastes and interests being different. However, my husband and I chose to try as many things as we could (from Bingo, to art auction, to trivia games and pool time) and learned a lot and had a lot of fun. Many opportunities were out there, you just have to choose to make the most of them.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We went to the Palladium 3 out of the 4 nights of shows. The comedian was Ok, the Tango dancing was pretty amazing, and the Broadway show tunes show was Ok. Only heard bands from a distance but enjoyed what we heard.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Every staff member we encountered was cheerful, welcoming, and did their best to accommodate our needs.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
We loved the size of the ship! My husband has difficulty walking too far so the smaller size was perfect. Everything was clean, well maintained, and easy to navigate. She may be old, but age is just a number right?😉
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
We took an inside cabin and were very pleased with the amount of storage. It was clean and the bedding was very comfortable. Our room steward, Deni, did a great job keeping things tidy.
Ship tip
Be a participant and not just an observer. Have fun and make the most of your trip. Cruising is an opportunity not everyone gets, so enjoy and be grateful.
We have been to Cozumel before and always enjoy it. This trip we took an excursion to Chankanaab Park and snorkeled with a group and had lunch. The snorkeling was great, the buffet included, just meh. There was so much more to do, we just didn't have enough time before our experience was over, so hopefully we'll be back again. We did shop some too.
We did not do anything in this port this trip. However, a piece of knowledge we learned was that only Lyft (not Uber) can pick up and drop off right at the entrance, so plan accordingly if you're using one of those services like we did.
