Review summary

Overall not the best RC cruise I have been on. Probably the worst. The MTD really set off the cruise on a bad note. Guest relations was efficient, and our cabin steward was helpful when asked for things. Robes were wet from the laundry so unusable.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Great experience at the port of Galveston. Staff were friendly and energetic. Customs was a breeze, ship check in was efficient.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
MTD was a disaster, sat around waiting to be attended to. 20 mins between courses. Assistant waiter had bad body odor. No personality. Ended up walking out. The table across from us with a different waiter also walked out. Food was not cooked correctly and had no taste. Not what I'm used to from main dining. Spent the rest of the time in the WJ which was good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Staff around the ship didn't really seem very excited. Was a rocky sailing so maybe they were feeling sea sick.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Guest dancers were great. Chorus dancers were ok but singers were out of pitch a lot of the time.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Not very much energy or personality.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
The ship arrived back late so they kicked everyone out of their disembarkation lounges at one time which created a que. Facial recognition for customs made it a speedy process after getting off the ship.
