Having sailed on the Liberty, before covid, my expectations were very high and Granduer did not meet them in the room or the food.

The food was lacking variety and, in some cases, freshness. There were cold cuts and cheese fur almost every meal and they were not appetizing. Both times we ate in the dining room, we had to them go to the buffet because the food was not very good. The chicken parmesan was rubbery... as if it had been reheated in the microwave for too long. The "alcoholic" beverages are lacking alcohol and are outrageously... most at $13 plus tax and 18% automatic gratuity.

We mostly played the trivia games and played along with other games in the centrum area.

Every person I interacted with on the cruise from royal was very friendly and helpful when needed.

Since it was a smaller ship, we were able to learn where everything was in a relatively short amount of time. The ship was clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was clean, shower was way too small, chair behind bathroom was blocking the closet and in the way. I was disappointed that there was no refrigerator in the room. The beds were hard.
Ship tip
Bring snacks and learn where you can get water, besides the bar, for when the buffet is closed.
Very different class of ship. Not surprised that between the ship differences coupled with pandemic issues, that you didn't enjoy it. Hoping your next cruise is the best ever! :)
