INCREDIBLE experience but we will book directly with the cruise line moving forward. We will NEVER book through again - not a friendly experience. Booking was easy, we paid in full by the deadline. As first time cruisers, we read the "Cruising 101" information on the site and watched our checkmark list carefully. We read through all of our "What to Do" items and completed each. We did not, however, read page 4 of our six page receipt for making full payment to see that there was a small blue link that we should've clicked to facilitate processing of the promotional onboard credit we'd taken advantage of in booking through . When I called to inquire how the credit worked the week before departure, we were told that we'd neglected to click the link in time and there was "nothing they could do". Reference to this process appeared no where OTHER THAN page 4 of the receipt for payment.

The Great Gatsby was an absolutely amazing experience! Our servers were outstanding - Virgilio and Imade - and made our dinner experience so wonderful! After our first night, we requested them for our second! Their attentiveness was extraordinary, they insured presentation of each detail was immaculate!
Onboard Activities

Our teen children participated in the Teen Lounge activities and really enjoyed them! We were worried that there wouldn't be activities that appealed to them but they loved it! We enjoyed the piano play in the Schooner Bar two nights, played many of the games offered, went to the art auction and the port shopping lectures......we didn't have enough time to enjoy everything that appealed to us!

We went to two of the shows offered in the Palladium Theater. One evening we enjoyed a comedy show and another evening we enjoyed the Royal Caribbean singers and dancers! They were unbelievable!

The staff was attentive to every detail! They were always smiling, always greeting us and inquiring how they could help.....we never found ourselves needing to "find" someone to address a need. Most often, all of our needs were anticipated.

Use the daily schedule to coordinate your days, especially the days at sea. Don't be idle - there's SO MUCH to enjoy!
Easy to get to, easy to navigate once there, well staffed to direct cruisers where to go all along the process. The port was clean, staff was very friendly and informative.
AMAZING experience! We were only in port for a quick 24 hours but we enjoyed every minute! We didn't plan any excursions or explore the island - we chose to stay nearby the Royal Naval Dockyard and shop at the Clocktower Mall on the first day and enjoy the beach at Snorkel Bay the second day. We didn't regret it. We didn't want to spend time riding around in taxis or on buses - we wanted to enjoy the areas we were close to.
So glad to hear great things about Grandeur - we sail at the end of March. Just got back from an amazing lighthouse cruise to New England and Canada on Anthem. It was wonderful!
Sounds like y’all have fallen in love with the Grandeur just like we have! Each cruise on her will get better as you see familiar faces. It’ll be like home before you know it!
