very good cruise with great food and wonderful Royal Caribbean staff. The boat needs some updating though.

Review summary

I enjoyed my cruise but this boat needs some updating. My room was just ok but the bathroom is so small and it always smells. I would go again on this cruise but will definately pick a different room/location as i didn't like being at the front of the boat and for some reason the hallway always smelled. Food was very good as was the service. Everyone was so very nice. Shows were just ok, nothing great but comedy show was very good.

i was on the third floor. The hallway leading up to my room had a horrible smell.

i believe i requested a window but got a port hole which i was very disappointed with. I was going to ask to change rooms but everything was booked so i was not able to. The bathrooms are way too small and they always smelled.

Ship tip

Don't stay at the bottom of the boat or way up front because you can really feel the boat move.

Actually the most stable location on the ship is low and center. You can imagine when you're high, you can rock side to side. When you are up front or way back, you can feel the forward and back rocking.

We always try to get a cabin that is midship. Also check the deck plans to see what is above you to avoid overnight noise.

A porthole is a window. Higher up on the ship oceanview rooms have regular windows and they cost more.
