Review summary

This cruise was pretty fun for us, but unlike many others on the ship... we were not seasick. You know you're in for a hard time when the captain tells you over the PA ON THE EVENING OF EMBARKATION that you will be having rough seas, high winds, and rain. It was like being on an amusement park ride that you could never ever get off of. It was a very rough ride over to Bermuda due to Jose, then on the return trip... we had very rough seas due to Jose again. The amazing crew was wonderful about maintaining the Royal Caribbean quality of service through it all. My family made the best of it and had fun... but we shouldn't have been out there in that weather!!!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Typical... I guess. It was fun watching the ship leave port. No issues.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Excellent food and service from all Royal Caribbean staff members.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Fun games and shows... the pools were closed for most of the cruise due to rough seas as was the rock climbing wall. The decks were closed to passengers on the last night of the cruise altogether... I assume due to the outdoor conditions.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Excellent entertainment... the highlight was Tino's Michael Jackson show on Wednesday night.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everybody was so professional, accommodating, and friendly!!!! Couldn't ask for more from the staff!!!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Plenty of room... clean... we enjoyed it.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland Did not visit port

We just got on the ship for embarkation and got off for disembarkation.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

4 out of 5
Fun for shoppers... but most excursions that involved water or the beach were cancelled due to bad weather.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We got back late to Baltimore... but the staff kept the process orderly and efficient.

Funny in a way. When a third of the passengers are sick, it makes it easier to tend to the remaining hearty souls aboard. Of course, the cabin stewards may have more work. Green apple, please!!!
