Review summary

This was our second Royal Carribean cruise, first on the Grandeur of the Seas. The trip was a five day cruise out of the Port of Baltimore.  Although the ship is one of the older ones in the fleet and does not have all the bells and whisltes of the newer ships, it did not disappoint!  The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the ship was super clean.  Our only destination was Bermuda and it was beautiful.  Would highly recommend going to Horseshoe Bay Beach.  It is as beautiful as any pictures you see.  The entertainment aboard was your typical cruise entertainment and the food was plentiful.  Looking forward to another Royal Carribean cruise in the future.

Cabin / Stateroom

Be organized and unpack as soon as you get your luggage, Not alot of room to leave things sitting around.

Ship tip

Make sure you go to the dining room at least once for breakfast during your cruise. Buffet style food is the same everyday. Go for the Chocolate Breakfast.......yummy muffins.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

King's Wharf, Bermuda Did not visit port

Don't bother with the Snuba Excursion. Go on your own to Pink Snorkel Beach. It's a 5 minute walk from the dock and you can rent snorkeling equipment there for about 20 bucks.

We've done 8 cruises--7 of them have been on Royal Caribbean--2 of those have been on Grandeur. We have 3 more booked & one of them is on Grandeur. She is our very favorite ship in most part because of the crew & the warm & friendly atmosphere that they create on board. They are awesome! Be sure you talk to them & get to know them. You'll feel the same way we do. Have fun!😎

We sail July 2nd. Great to read good reviews as we've never cruised before. Can't wait for our adventure!

We did this a couple years ago when Enchantment was based in Baltimore, we loved it, rented a scooter and went to Horseshoe Bay beach, into Hamilton as well. Bermuda is way nicer than the Caribbean

Nice to hear, my wife and I will be doing the same cruise in September, and yes, Horseshoe Bay is Priority 1.
