Review summary

My first experience with Royal Carribiean was not a good one. The company seems to be very money hungry and not very passenger oriented. It was hard to cancel events that we had scheduled (i.e. spa treatments) because they were afraid of losing the money. Using ship coupons were also hard to redeem. If you don't read the fine print about how to redeem the coupon, you may be out of luck trying to use it.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

I have now learned with my visits to Mexico not to visit the border towns. Cozumel was just like a Mexican border town. Very dirty. Very basic necessities of life that we take for granted in the United States were being sold for money. No toilet paper or hand towels could be found in the bathrooms. Someone was outside with these "luxuries" and were selling them to tourists Just a very dirty dirty town.

Cons: Old Ship, lots of technical problems.

Recommends Grandeur of the Seas? No.
