Review summary

The Captain certainly ran a tight ship. Everything was always on time, the ship was clean, the service, excellent. Our wait staff went far above and beyond the call of duty. Really enjoyed the events we attended. There was a large group sailing with us and they tended to take over the events they attended, especially seating which occasionally made things uncomfortable. We had some rough seas and the staff really managed that well. Entertainment was very good although some of the humor was a bit on the bawdy side.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food was quite varied and certainly there was always more than enough. I cannot imagine anyone going hungry! That being said, my party did find the food on the bland side and often returned meals they had ordered.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
For the most part we enjoyed what we attended. Am always amazed at the variety of the offerings and the quality of the performers. Missed the magician and one of the music/dance reviews due to the rough seas. Karaoke was great!

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Our wait staff was excellent and shop staff was most helpful. Bar service was hit or miss -- in the main restaurant it was wonderful but we found that if you wanted a soda it was best to get your own. The purser's staff was brusque and sometimes their information was incorrect.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Our cabin steward was always prompt with service -- cabin clean-up, pull down service, etc. The bedding was extremely uncomfortable and we were often lacking in towels.

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Wished we could have docked at Hamilton or St. George. King's Wharf itself didn't have much to offer except that Rum Swizzle cake! Didn't expect "bargains" in Hamilton but shopping was fun and varied. Loved the beach and wished we could have spent more time there.
Don't Miss: Horseshoe Bay Beach

Pros: Bermuda (especially the beaches), our wait staff, spa facilities

Cons: bed/bedding, rough seas (not the cruise line's fault, of course)
