Review summary

We have sailed with Princess five times now and all have been great but the last cruise was the best. Having the Grand Suite was a Bucket List that came true. We just hope to do it again someday.

Embarkation

Very Easy, Not that many passengers

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
ALL the food was good. We eat all the specialty restaurants, main dining rooms and buffet.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the pools, we had a hot tube in our cabin and used it a lot.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was great. We went to all the show available and all were sensational.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
One of the best part of our Cruise was the staff. Everyone one from the repairman maintaining the ship to the department heads were so polite and friendly to us. We have several crew members that went way beyond great service to outstanding service!!!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was in good shape. Based on the Grand went through a major makeover in 2019 and because of Covid-19 the ship was clean and well maintained. We’ve been on the Grand before so we know the layout very well. The only issue that was noticeable was the rust. I know the saltwater and sea air is hard on steel but maintenance needs to do a better job taking care of the rust.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Best cabin ever. Large, clean and just special. The cabin is a little dated but still very nice.

Ship tip

One advise I would give is go to the specialty restaurant at least once but I would recommend at least twice. The food is exceptional and the service is outstanding.

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

2 out of 5
Cabo has become to commercialize. The shop are all the same and they won’t deal on the prices.

La Paz, Mexico

4 out of 5
Long drive to town but nice bus ride. The town has a lot of places to eat but not to many shores to shop. Great beaches to walk.

Loreto, Mexico

5 out of 5
Small town right off the ship, very clean and easy to walk though. They even had a couple of RV parks, that was strange to see.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Super easy, of course the was only 624 passengers and we had a suite so just walked off, grabbed our luggage and on the road in less then 20 minutes.
