Review summary

This cruise reminded us of why we have become fans of Princess cruises. The staff and service were excellent. They have gotten the evening entertainment program right so that you can have a continuous evening of enjoyment from dinner right through to bedtime. A good set of bands onboard gave you many dance options in the different lounges. The food was also very good in the traditional dining room. Topped only by the service we received there. Embarkation could not have possibly been any faster. I think we were aboard in under 5 minutes. There were only a couple of downsides. First, the cruise director was not very energetic or informative. His staff was much better. We also had to tender at 3 out of the 4 stops on the cruise which reduces the flexibility of getting on and off the ship.

Ports of call

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

5 out of 5
Having been to Ocho Rios before, we had already done the Dunn's River Falls, so we chose the Martha Brae river float. It is an excellent experience.
Don't Miss: Martha Brae river float

George Town, Grand Cayman

3 out of 5
We have visited the Caymans many times on previous cruises, so we have run out of things to do here, but it is a nice experience to just walk around and shop.
Don't Miss: Stingray city

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
There were 11 ships in port at the same time which made the place a zoo downtown. That combined with bad weather that prevented any snorkeling and made tendering nearly hazardous and unpleasant.
Don't Miss: The national park
