Review summary
We cruise once a year and this was our first trip with Princess. We were excited because we had heard good things about them. What a huge let down. Princess lost our luggage from transfer to ship. They denied it was lost at first, then scolded us for asking about it after one day. They gave us a $100 ship board credit ($3000 worth of lost clothes). After complaining on the 3 day that we hadn't heard back from them, the hotel director gave us another $150 ship board credit. They were unapologetic, callous and uncaring. They were at fault, but yet made us feel we were. The staff rarely smiled and the ship wasn't very clean (as compared to others). We booked a Birthday celebration, that never happened (I guess they wanted to add insult to injury). Princess' credo states how much they care about their clients and providing quality service. Well quality service isn't defined by not having problems, but how well you deal with problems when they arise. So far, the ship staff failed miserably. Maybe Princess corporate will reimburse me for the lost luggage and salvage an opportunity to at least make good on their negligence, but I'm not expecting much.Ship experiences
