Review summary

We heard that this ship has been sold, I think to P & O so it will no longer be part of the Princess fleet. The staff were great. Enjoyed the tug of war between the different staff teams.

Embarkation

Smooth and quick.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
We only ate in the buffet a couple of times. We found the food either over cooked. I could not even cut into the muffin on the eggs benedict. It was not very warm either, which concerned us. The menu in the main dining room was good. It took us a few days but we did get my husbands meal served low or no sodium. Definitely not the best food we have had. Several dishes were underwhelming. Portions were good and enjoyed the cold soups. Loved the International café for coffee and tea in the early morning.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pools were quite deep but were still great. Hot tubs were good too. Usually could find a lounge chair. Really enjoyed the outdoor movies

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We thought the shows in the main theater were fairly short - no more than 45 minutes. Many times we had to line up 45 minutes ahead to get into the early show. We did love the comedian from Australia. Other acts were somewhat amateur.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff were friendly and welcoming! So very helpful too.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
There really was not enough seating on deck 5 where they had some of the food demonstrations. So you couldn't even see.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Loved the beds. These are the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Bathroom was small but very functional. Loved our deck it was huge!!!
