Review summary

This cruise was the second part of our vacation. We stayed 5 days in Marco Island, Fl then drove our rental car to MIA drop off. Uber’ed from airport to cruise port with ease and had a great short cruise. Demographic was much younger than the longer cruises we have done and a large number of passengers were Hispanic and Latino. Much louder atmosphere than our last Royal cruise but was very enjoyable for the short amount of time we had. Ended up booking another cruise at NextCruise for our 1 year anniversary in March.

10:30 boarding time…arrived at 10:40… ship wasn’t ready but only had to wait about 20 minutes once through security to allow “the key” purchasers to board first. On board at 11:20am.

Food and Dining

Had the unlimited dining and deluxe beverage packages. Drinks were consistent at every bar. Had Chops twice which was excellent (Grace was our server both times and was awesome). Izumi hibachi was a bit on the slow service wise which had our sushi come out as we were being served hibachi. Not a dealbreaker, just not what we were used to from our local hibachi experience.

Onboard Activities

Only a 3-night cruise so we only hung out in the ship during the Nassau port day. Seemed like plenty to do if that is your thing…23 just like to relax on deck and hit the water slides occasionally which were surprisingly fun.

Large balcony… comfortable with the layout we prefer. Only knock I have was that hand soap was not provided in the bathrooms in staterooms which seems a bit off due to the times we are in. Room steward provided a shower gel bottle to use upon request.
