Review summary

Good, but was very disappointed in our cabin this time compared to several previous cruses with Royal Caribbean cruises.

For those that book rooms great tip is to look at ship layout and try and sand which yourself between decks that have cabins. I used to always like to be up high but have had the floor below the pool deck or buffet and could constantly hear noise or chairs scraping

So, you booked the cabin under the Schooner bar yourself? I would strongly recommend against booking a room immediately above or below any public spaces.

I definitely would not be able to handle being under or above a bar or place open late. That would really turn me off. Bummer for you. I have an inside cabin with my sister. I’ve always done balconies so I’m sure I will miss the space! Thanks for the info!

Location on ship was really good, except that it was just below Schooner Bar and we could hear the music until it ended close to midnight. I’m in my mid 70s and don’t typically stay up late. It seemed smaller than any previous inside cabin we’ve ever had in the past. Also, not enough cabinet storage space. Bathroom sink was shoddily caulked - just poor workmanship. Hope you’re not too disappointed, especially after cruising on Harmony!!
