Review summary

We just returned from a 4-day trip. The ship was beautiful. The accommodations were clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The food was tasty, but not of the best quality (meats were fatty and tough). There was very little entertainment onboard. When we questioned this, we were told "This is a 7-day ship. You can't do it all in 4 days." In other words, they have a schedule of activities and adhere to it. Poolside was quiet - no music except for the sail-away party which lasted about an hour. Most of the passengers were elderly (about 80%) with a small number of younger adults (we are in our very early 40s). Our children had a wonderful time at the sports deck and arcade. We've sailed with RCCL 4 times and have found that the smaller ships are definitely a lot more fun! The Freedom was VERY DULL!
