Review summary
Ok, I decided to spend some serious money and book the Royal family suite on Freedom of the see December 9th 2007, We told some friend and brought three couples and our family. We arrived at the dock and were quickly greeted by a porter who told us the only way to get our bags to our room was to tip him in advance. We were concerned and tipped him as we didnt want to be missing any luggage. We entered the dock building and we were pleasantly surprised that we didnt have to wait in the long line as we booked a suite and they let us check in at a separate counter. We arrived in our royal family suite and found it to be incredible, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, three plasma tvs,and a huge balcony. The first day at see we went to the windjammer and bought unlimted coke passes for ourselves and our kids. we then went in to the windjammer where all casual meals are. The windjammer is very large but so many people are trying to eat that it is crowded to the point of being unpleasant. The service was non existent , every time we ordered cokes or sprite with our pass card the staff seemed to be difficult and begrudging. when we could get our colas they were watery and not to US standards. We found the only way we could get our drinks was to go up to the bar and get them ourselves. The food in the windjammer was on par with an average Las vegas buffet, not great but not terrible.
