Eat too much.. If you're on a diet, don't take a cruise.

The ship is looking tired and needs a port call for work. Things need to be updated such as: no internet in the cabins, only hot spots and a computer center with a system that wastes money on connecting and disconnecting. In cabin entertainment needs to join the rest of the industry with having first class movies for FREE, not charged for.

The cruise was very nice but we were very disappointed as we were celebrating our 50th Golden Anniversary, and all we received was a Certificate congratulatin only ME (Connors,James, as that is the what was printed on it),and no mention of my wife's name. We have been on other cruise lines for anniveraries and birthdays and have always been treated to a cake or bottle of Champagne. Not have an appropriate acknowledgement was somewhat disappointing.

All was great except for a very dirty balcony.

Have enjoyed very much crusing with royal caribbean. The ship has been maintained so well that did not show its age in most places. No odor or molds inside the bathroom at all. Super clean. The whole stateroom looks like new except for the spotty couch that I truly thought needed to be replaced. Overhall it is a beautiful ship and I would love to come back again!

We have been on 7 Cruises. This was the first time on Royal Caribbean. We liked the ship, the shows, and the ports we visited. As compared to other Cruise Lines we sailed on (Holland American and CELEBRITY), the food on the Explorer of the Seas was TERRIBLE. We ate in the Dinning Room, the Windjammer and Johnny Rockets and the food was all the same. Terrible. I must say we did eat in the restaurant and the food there was good but I should not have go into the resaurant and pay $ 20.00 per person to get good food on a cruise..

My overall impression was the ship was kept properly and the crew was very friendly and helpful

Loved this ship. The decor was amazing. Con: No adult only area. Made it hard to relax. And the pool area can get pretty crowded.

Just returned from 5 day Bermuda on the beautiful enchantment of the sea. Ship is gorgeous. There is always something fun going on! The musical entertainment is outstanding! Something for everyone!! I especially loved the pumped in piano music in the cabins. (you have the option to turn off). I drifted off to a peaceful sleep each night listening to this. The food in the windjammer is OUTSTANDING. I would not call this an average buffet! Something delicious for everyone's taste. The dining room food to me was not above average. Desserts were just mediocre as well. . I think staff does try to give you the best cruise experience. Have to mention the lovely \"washy washy\" gentleman. He always had a warm smile as you entered dining area encouraging all to wash hands before entering.

Everything was run well. The staterooms were kept clean at all times and the stateroom attendant was always there for any needs we had. Our waiter and assistant waiter also went above and beyond to make sure we had a most wonderful experience.

Dinner service amazing our waiter Darryl was excellent and house keep terrific they all work so hard to make our experiencevwondrerful the ship was magnificent

Royal Caribbean's Explorer of the Seas is old, worn down, dirty (especially the pool towels). The customer service is so bad that it looks like even the staff does not want to be there !

This was my third cruise on this ship and it's still great, however, they cut back on a lot since my last cruise like, no more big midnight buffet, towel animals are only every other night, and they no longer give prepaid gratuity vouchers to give to the staff on the last night to let them know you gave them a tip. minor details I know, but the old ways were better.

It was a very nice cruise.

The ship is in very good condition-clean and bright. Pretty easy to navigate despite its size. The main pool area was very crowded and noisy-lots of \"young\" people. Some problems with people putting towels on chaises and never showing up. Embarkation and disembarkation were flawless.
