Review summary

Great ship with a good atmosphere and Cruise director Chlo is very good. Enjoyed Dizzys nightclub. Too Notch band are so good and engage with crowd.Would be great to see more seating in smaller bars.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very quick and easy - car to ship in around 20 minutes

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food of good standard and lots of choice. Only let down by promenade cafe which had limited choice and massive queues.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Lots of facilities - unfortunately weather limited what we could use.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Many shows I watched already on explorer in July so it was mostly the same repeated. However saw a couple of comedians which weren’t on ship in Summer and were very funny. Missed Jevencio and Perry in piano bar as different artists this time but not as good. Love the silent disco

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Shows not that great for kids. Fine for adults. My kids did not like kids clubs on RCI.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff very friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean - always lots of cleaning activity around the ship

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Very clean - beds very comfy but room not practical as bathroom door opens right where wardrobe is and makes getting ready and moving around very challenging. Bed is amazing though.

Ship tip

Select a mid ship cabin for less motion on the ocean

Ports of call

Vigo, Spain

4 out of 5
No excursion. Lovely city but not as big as I expected. Pleasant to stroll around.

Gijon, Spain

5 out of 5
No excursion. City is vast - amazing for shopping. We got lost but it was fun trying to find our way back. There’s a surfers beach which was amazing to watch. Would love to go here again and explore some more.

Le Havre (Paris), France

4 out of 5
Nice city and only 20 minute walk into town. Bought some macaroons from a specialist shop for a gift. Again this city surprised us with how big it was. So many restaurants. I don’t think we saw even half of it. We found ourselves in the upper class shops but I believe from other passengers that there are many of the well known shops in another area such as Zara, h and m and Primark.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very quick did self assist so off in 10 minutes.
