Review summary

I sailed on the Explorer of the Seas for 5 nights to Bermuda. It was fantastic! The crew was great and so was the food. The Windjammer Cafe Buffet and the Island Grille had the best food and were included in the price. The other restaurants like Portofino, and Johnny Rockets had a cover charge. But overall it was a great cruise. There was so much to do and the island of Bermuda is gorgeous. My boyfriend and I rented a scooter and drove across the whole island in two hours and visited 3 beaches all in one day. The next day we bought roundtrip bus tickets ($8 per person) and went back to one of the beaches we visited the day before.

Ship experiences

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The Explorer of the Seas had beautiful artwork and paintings on the walls. Not to mention the Royal Promenade. The ship was so clean, except for some of the bathrooms.

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

King's Wharf, Hamilton, St. George, Jobson's Beach, Shelley Bay, Horseshoe Bay

Pros: The delicious food and wonderful staff!

Cons: There were children running around the boat without parent supervision after 11pm!
