Review summary

I would do this again, but probably not the same locations as it did seem more like a party stop at each port. The excursions appeared great but also did take a long time to get to the ruins and diving things.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The boarding when you pay extra for streamline services made things smooth and uncomplicated. I was happy we didn't have to stand in line and wait around

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The staff is what make this ship great. Ship is a little old, but the food was decent, drinks were great, and the pool area was nice. I paid for the access to the concierge lounge and enjoyed that a lot.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The activities were really for folks who wanted to move about in their wheelchairs and mobility aids. It seemed as if you were 65 plus this would be a great cruise for you

Entertainment

4 out of 5
this went between the 70's and 80's with a vaudeville production on one night - could have been more robust. Trivia was okay, karaoke was good but again, for older folks

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
the kids activities didn't seem to leave the little enclave they were assigned to. Would have been good if they could see the ship from a kids perspective, inspect some of the other areas, take a walk or perhaps have time at the pool.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
This is the reason you want to be on this ship. THE STAFF. Only complaint I had was with the spa manager who should not be in front of any humans as she doesn't seem to be able to hold a conversation without getting snarky or testy. Otherwise I was so happy with everyone.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Was clean, but old. So the design should be weighted accordingly

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We loved our cabin, and barely left to do things where others chose to sit outside in public spaces. We enjoyed the sea days because we took advantage of the sunrise and sunset. It was worth upgrading to this cabin.

Ship tip

Get up early and avoid all the crowds and noise. Nap during the day, and then take advantage of evening events.

Ports of call

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
We did an eco tour here and the guide was great as was the slower pace. We sat at the beach and hung out although I wouldn't recommend getting rum from here, just was sour and potent versus smoother rums in the Caribbean

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Because we upgraded, our bags were there, and we walked thru quickly. Definitely worth it.
