Review summary

Our cabin was extremely dirty. there were brown handprints on the door and stains on the ceiling and TV. Not to mention dust everywhere. The toilette bowl had black rings in it. When I tried to call Guest relations, the phone did not work! After getting a hold of a manager, the only thing he could say is "we will make this right". Naturally, we are thinking they will offer a cabin move or something. However, their idea of "making this right" was to clean the room how it should have been in the first place! In all this inconvenience, we did not get a chance to read an envelope in our room that said we needed to claim our bungalow at the Cococay! Therefore, we were not able to pick a front row bungalow as we wanted. Not a great way to start our Anniversary cruise. In all my years of cruises I have never has this much inconvenience in any other cruise line. This may be my last time cruising with Royal Caribbean.

Do you have any photo's to document the condition of the room ?

To anyone that loves RCI, You weer not on this ship for this cruise in this exact state room so saying I have cruised 100 times with RCI and never had an issue does not mean anything to this one cabin on this one cruise on this one ship.

We've cruised 10 times with RCCL & never had an experience like you described. Our first cruise was on Enchantment with 4 other couples & we all loved it. Sometimes there have been issues but they were all resolved in a timely manner. Things happen on any cruise line you go on. A cruise is what YOU make it, just like life in general. Look for the good---you'll find it. Look for the bad---you'll find it. Just roll with the punches---don't dwell on the bad. Hope your next anniversary is perfect!

If you didn't pick a bungalow when you booked, which you can't, how else did you expect to get the one you wanted unless you showed up early?

The mirror must have been filthy as well, because seeing one self would have made a real difference in your vacation
