Ships are doing enhanced cleaning due to the norovirus. The earliest you can arrive is 30 min before your scheduled time. You will line up & wait till they let you into the building to go through security.

No problem. Baltimore is our regular cruise port since it is only a 90-minute drive for us. We like the smaller cruise ships. We've sailed Royal the most.

Baltimore is a wonderful and efficient port, so you will be fine.  Don't let an hour later for super clean ship affect your vacation.
