on the newer ships you can't punch holes in the key cards so you have to use the plastic holders because they have the tap technology in them

They can punch a hole in the card for you. Not sure if it’s done at customer service or one of the stations where they sell lanyards the first day.

We had to bring our own hole punch. They might punch it for you at the customer service desk. We started off with a plastic holder and had to take it out every time and it was a real pain.

We tried the plastic holder older and we had to take the card out every single time and it was a pain so we hole punched it ourselves, and you can also get that done at the customer service desk.
