Just cruised from that port. Staff says it is nearly always a bit windy and choppy out of Baltimore.

the Chesapeake bay can be choppy if it's a windy day. We went out the end of January this year and it was rough but there was a nor'easter coming. We live in the bay area and it can change fast

I just got off a cruise from the Atlantic today and my home port is Boston. Plus, I've cruised out of Baltimore before. You should be fine, since you're past hurricane season.

We did this exact cruise in 2019 and had no rough sea days

We did this trip in December before. We didn’t notice it being rough. Some days you couldn’t go out on the deck though. Must have been icy or wet.

Sea conditions are directly related to wind energy so it is impossible to say what you will in encounter in February, 2023. One thing for sure is the Enchantment of the Seas is a small ship by today's standards and will be more affected by rough seas. If this concerns you consider a cabin on a lower deck in the center of the ship.

We have done that many times in Jan & Feb., It takes about 8 hours to get out of the Chesapeake Bay.From that point till you get down to Florida it can be rough for a short time but this to will pass.Dont be intimated.
