Review summary

Nice relaxing trip. The internet (as usual) was problematic but people were helpful. Service was consistently good. There were many time/day changes to our ports, some of which were disappointing (I.E. Arriving in Barbados at 11:30 which left little time to go to the beach and be back for dinner)

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Arrived early was was allowed onboard and was settled by 11 am.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main Dining Room was fine, good selection and great service. Specialty restaurant Sabatini's was excellent. We had problems making reservations before we left for the specialty restaurants and when we got aboard most were books since there are people going on back to back cruises and booked their second week early. We were also surprised how nice the buffet's were presented. No crowded and immaculate facility with a good selection.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There seemed to be plenty and a wide variety of activities. We basically wanted to relax, but there were always great options.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Most of the stage shows were excellent. We enjoyed the two different comedians on the ship. Much better than past cruises.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone went out of their way to be accomodation.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was immaculate and the layout was what we were accustomed to. We always avoid the diningroom in the back of the ship since it is hard to find. Didn't care for the location of the French Restaurant since it was in the middle of the atrium. You could smell the fish when you were walking around.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Room was comfortable, but smaller than we are use to on Princess. The chair that use to be near the sliding glass doors is gone and my husband liked to sit there and read. Balcony also smaller.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

3 out of 5
Usual port, just easy to fly into and out of.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

3 out of 5
Been there many times and rather stay on the ship and enjoy iat.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
Always a nice stop for shopping and walking around town. Beaches are usually crowded when there are many ship in dock.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
No problems, we walk-off with our luggage and find a cab
