Review summary

The cruise was supposed to go to Cuba but was changed due to new regulations. We enjoyed the new Western Caribbean itinerary though did not have enough time in San Juan. Loved the diversity of the ship crew including entertainment staff and director.

The Empress is small and easy to navigate. Very clean.

The cabins on this ship are tiny. It was immaculate but ours had bunks that I constantly hit my head on even though they were folded up because space is so tight. The shower/bathroom is especially tiny.
