Review summary

I usually sail with Holland America and I think I will go back to them. Not very happy with Royal Caribbean. I did speak with the head of Customer Service onboard the ship who assured me an issue would be resolved when I needed to get to a location at night and my husband was not with me. Unfortunately,when I called the main desk, the woman who answered the phone told me it was "my problem"... (not a nice answer) and so my opinion of the cruise and company was not all that positive. I tried to give them a number of opportunities to correct the problem.

Main dining room maitre d was SO good I gave him a personal $ 50.00 tip cash at the end for a 5 day cruise. Without him and the waiter and staff at our table the rest of the dining room staff, when we ate at open seating, we couldn't even get a refill on a cup of coffee!!

Nice, However I am blind and the elevators do NOTneven have Braille on the buttons. Shame on the company. All it takes is to attach little stickers next to the button.

Cabin / Stateroom

Not clean and there was mold. Unfortunately next to us, a major pipe broke and flooded several cabins ( not ours) but we had to live for 4 days with the smell and sound of big fans blowing 24/7.
