7 Night Bermuda (Philadelphia Roundtrip)
Sail Date: October 14, 2006
Ship: Empress of the Seas (RETIRED) 223
Cabin Type: Suite
Traveled As: Couple

I understand the Empress is an older ship, but paying more to be on the balcony suite, I expected better accomodations and larger room. Biggest complaint was the noise. My 85 year old parents were right beside us. Every night we heard the band, people, chairs and table moving, people runnning. every morning at 5AM, we heard the cleaning crew banging around. This was not a restful vacation. We paid more for the room and slept less...

Don't Miss: e z bike tour/ glass bottom boat - captain did great job.....

Pros: crew polite, food just fine. Loved Bermuda

Cons: stateroom. Not up to JS status. Extremely noisey every night and morning, very poor insulation between floors. Heard everything from deck 10....
