Review summary

I will never travel on this ship again, worst nastiest food ive ever tried to eat! funny though I lost weight on vacation, who does that! never again I'm so mad that I spent that much money I went by myself which was great but I paid more than enough money for over 2 people, then  the food was horrific omg never ever ever ever again!

I don't know where these people eat on Emerald Princess but we have had a brilliant cruise on Emerald Princess every thing was fantastic the food was really good I'm a chef if there was any problems with the food I would go and speak to the restaurant manager, when you're catering for over 3000 pax you can't expect to please every body, especially fussy one's.

We went on this ship around the Mediterranean for 28 days.would have to agree the food was not good at all.the only places it was good were the pizza shop and the onboard restaurants that you had to pay for.was very dissapointed with the food

One less is no loss for my enjoyment. 23 days until my next! :)

I'm not high maintenance and I try to go with the flow. I agree about crown grill. it was $25 extra per person but for us well worth it. if you want to do it, I would check on it as soon as you can after boarding. Well worth the extra money. I work where customer service is number 1 and I have learned, you can't please some people, no matter how hard you try. I hope your family has a great cruise

viclasaisa. If there's an opportunity take the family for a treat in the Crown Grill , I think it's US $25/35 per person cover charge, service and quality is exceptional. You may need booking early, but don't leave last two days ox the cruise as it's very popular! The piazza lively in the evening with 'Street' entertainment cafe, wine bar close by.

Everyone has their own experience. I was on this most recent cruise as well and I didn't enjoy the food. I chose not to give it a negative review though because I feel like it was more a problem with me than anything. I'm a picky eater and there was just a lot of foreign themes that they tried to implement during the dining. If you generally like most stuff, you'll be fine.

We just came off that ship and the food was fantastic

Last year we took a 14 nights family cruise holiday from Southampton to the Mediterranean. The entertainments I would say was average run of the mill shows nothing spectacular. The dinning wasn't a great deal to look forward to....a but the Crown Grill is a fantastic speciality restaurant with excellent services and great food, it cost a little for cover charge, but we all had scallops for appetisers followed by double helpings of lobsters then 8oz fillet steak as main!

We were on the Emerald Princess and we loved everything about the ship. The crew was fantastic, the food was great. We had a lot of sea days while on this ship and never felt like 'get me off of here.' I think to each his own. I do hope you have a wonderful cruise. I guess there was nothing about this cruise this person liked. Given the 1 star, it was all about the food. They didn't like the ports of call, the ship, food, crew, nothing. Enjoy!
