Review summary

This was a surprise birthday cruise for my wife and daughter and Disney made it magic. From the moment we stepped into the terminal to the moment we left, they went above and beyond to make this an amazing cruise. This was my 2nd cruise with Disney, and after experiencing other cruise lines, I am Disney cruising from here on out.

Embarkation

Galveston Terminal 2 makes it so incredibly easy to get on board quickly, nothing like the Carnival terminal which was a nightmare. We were completely through security in less than 10 minutes. And the Sail-A-Wave party was awesome!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
So much great food! Palo was to die for, Cabana's buffy was always incredible, and the table restaurants were amazing as usual. Not to mention that they will bend over backwards to make your dining experience the best it can be.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
No shortage of entertainment here! Even without all the Christmas stuff going on, there's just so much to see and do! Plan another trip because you won't be able to do it all.

Service and Staff

I will say this until I'm blue in the face: no one, absolutely no one, matches Disney-level service!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Immaculate! Which is amazing considering there are kids on board. The staff really keeps the place sparkling.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Spacious, luxurious, and we loved the bed that pulled out of the ceiling which still left room to sit on the couch and watch tv. The rooms were incredibly clean, the beds were soooooo comfy, and Disney makes it so easy to store all your stuff.

Ship tip

Join a Fish Extender group and do your homework! There's so much to see and do, if you walk on blindly, you're bound to miss something awesome.

Mama Teresa's Flying Pizza! Make sure you stop in! Also, the Tremont House is THE hotel to stay at before your cruise.

Cozumel, Mexico
