Review summary

We just returned form out July '08 Disney Cruise in July. Every site was booked but BJ's had openings and at a discount! We have never found any one to have rental cars for less. Not AARP, not AAA or my company discount plan- or anyone. Great Job BJ's. Keep it up and thanks. I couldn't wait to return from our 3 day cruse t brag to our family and friends what an incredible fun time we had on the Disney Wonder. The ship staff is tripping over themselves to wait on you hand and foot. If there is a request from Guest Services, it is successfully resolved in less than fifteen minutes. Four star restaurants (at no extra charge), beautiful displays of food, food buffets, free endless pizza, delicious chicken fingers and hot dogs available all day and night for the kids. Three on deck pools with sporting activities: b-ball, shuffle board, soccer, ping pong, billiards with a jogging track on deck. Latest movie releases, three Disney musicals of extremely high professional caliber (fill up fast). The last all-day event at Disney's own Castaway Cay island with lots of food, silverware,. cloth napkins, plates ON this Disney island picnic!!!! Overall a GREAT entertainment value & a 40% discount for booking another Disney cruise before leaving the ship. Our extended family party raved Disney is 1,000% better than Carnival, better service to the Disney guests, and more efficient with Disney's more spacious cabins to enjoy. If you too have gone on a different company, you will also be amazed at the fantastic way Disney treats their guests. Cruise also afford close-up more time for children to experience the magic of the Disney characters with personal photos and autographs. If there were a rating here beyond "BEST", I would surely check it in ALL categories. A Disney cruise is also a super wedding gift, or anniversary gift if not a family vacation. This is not a commercial endorsement, I am only a normal BJ's customer like you. Everything Disney touches is grade "A". You won't believe how they pamper you and the entire ship staff is SO very friendly.

Outstanding and lavish food buffets, and four-star dining restaurants (3) for your pleasure, each with a different character. Tons of fresh fruit and other delicates you would NOT find at your home.

Entertainment

Late night adult only clubs, piano bars, sports bars etc loaded with a variety of interactive shows like the dating game, country western dancing, rock band night club dancing, comedy shows etc. The Disney musicals are Broadway professional quality in the 1,000 seat theatre. Forget the diet-there are exercise rooms with excellent view as you work out with expert trainers. Connected to a health spa- ladies (and men) treat yourself to a massage, steam, or facial. This is ALL for your enjoyment- Disney wants to pamper you silly.

Children's Programs

Disney has the MOST trained child counselors of any cruise line (52) to make sure your child is safe , happy, and entertained in the child day care. This way, adults can enjoy yourselves aboard the ship with shows, dining, late night clubs or whatever. A separate Teen loft club is cool and loaded with activities for other teens to have fun. On deck dancing performances with Disney characters to dance & sing with. You won't believe how they make even the littlest guest feel very very special. My teen preferred this cruise over the Disney amusement parks with rides to my suprise.

Disney staff is plentiful to aid, assist and make your stay happy. You won't believe how they pamper you and the entire ship staff is SO very friendly. No matter what foreign language you speak, there are many many bilingual employees there to make your stay enjoyable. We met guests from Russia, China, Switzerland ,Germany and many more.

Ship Quality

Excellent well maintained SAFE environment. Three pools on Disney wonder w/ hot tubs, late night swims are delightful under the stars. Safe for the kids- if you have any. 10 levels w/ elevators and stairs.

Cabin / Stateroom

Far larges than Carnival, and cabin staff VERY responsive to any of your requests.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

Relax, enjoy, or exercise. Tons of food with real plates, silverware, cloth napkins !!! They treat you first class. Medical facility there also if you need a bandaid. Warning! take bug spray & lotions for sand fleas. reapply after the water

On the islands- it's YOUR free time. use it how you want or enjoy several planned sight-seeing tours. Don't forget sun block, hat shades, etc.
