Review summary

This was the first cruise for my family so we chose a 4-night Disney Cruise knowing they catered to families and had an excellent reputation. We checked the website and watched the DVD about the cruise and just new we would have a great time. Everything was as promised and done to perfection! Our 13 year old son had a great time and wants to know when we can do it again!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food and service were wonderful. All the extras - which are too many to mention - made the cruise something to talk about for some time - or at least until we go again!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
There was always something to do or see. The vast variety of entertainment was great and very well orchestrated so that you never felt you would miss out on something. We also really enjoyed the interaction with the guests.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Our teen had a great time! He had his own schedule of activities so we knew he was having fun while being supervised.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was excellent! We enjoyed the personal touches like the "towel animals" at turndown, and the ketchup poured for you by your server into the shape of mickey mouse! Having the same friendly servers greet you each evening was an added pleasure.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We were thoroughly impressed with the ships apperance, cleanliness and amenities.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The stateroom was very comfortable and we enjoyed the veranda.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the variety of shopping close to the cruise ship.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

5 out of 5
Was a fun place to spend a day. The beach was clean with plenty of lounge chairs. "Cookies BBQ" pit pavilion was casual with an excellent variety of food. We walked right up in our bathing suits and had a great meal.

Pros: Service was spectacular and we loved the variety of activities - for all ages!

Cons: It rained when we arrived in Nassau so our shore excusion was cancelled - but we had plenty of other things we could do.
