Review summary

Fairly good cruise with some surprisingly disappointing moments given it is Disney cruise

Embarkation

5 out of 5
This was great well organised and quick

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The quality of the food and choice of food was outstanding

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
Very limited activities, they seemed unable to cope with inclement weather, they thought just putting a film on in the theatre is activity!

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Stage shows by Disney were great, other entertainment poor, 2 singers who thought singing a few lines from a song was entertaining it would be great if the could have actually finished a song. The last night, usually memorable entertainment consisted of showing lion king twice

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Wait staff and room steward were great as were guest services, but the organisation and communication about what was going on with change of itinerary and

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Generally very clean, desperately needs refit showing her age. Public areas cannot cope with the number of guests when outside deck cannot be used, disappointed

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Clean, general maintenance needed. Unless you are deaf DO NOT USE THIS STATEROOM it’s directly under the kitchen with trolleys rattle on the floor until early hours of the morning and then they restart before breakfast. We were moved after complaining

Ports of call

Dover (London), England

5 out of 5
Departure port very good

Portland (Weymouth), England, UK

5 out of 5
They encourage you to go direct to Weymouth, or more importantly buy their tour to Stonehenge! the ship doesn’t theshuttle to Weymouth stops in Portland itself which has a great museum about D Day and the Americans coming through Portland, also there is Portland castle which again was great

Ringaskiddy (Cork), Ireland

3 out of 5
Nothing at the port! We’re supposed to dock at Cobh!! Ship provided shuttle to Cork, contacted customer services before cruise when we were notified about change of port, there response was only those who book a tour will get transport and Ringaskiddy is still in Cork port !!

Sydney, Nova Scotia Did not visit port

We didn’t visit here due to storm in the area

Halifax, Nova Scotia Did not visit port

We didn’t visit here due to storm in the area, but they could have visited really

New York, New York

4 out of 5
Great city but spent half day waiting to disembark as we arrived a day early because we missed the other 2 ports! Immigration would not deal with our ship until they had finished scheduled ships. We should have stayed at sea
