Review summary

If you're looking for a vacation where customer service matters, Disney is the way to go. We don't have kids, but we still prefer Disney over other lines because their goal is to ensure that everyone has a great experience.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We were pleasantly surprised that the quality of food seemed even better than we had experienced on previous cruises. There was adequate selection in each of the dining rooms to satisfy anyone and the staff is more than willing to get meals from other dining rooms\, if requested. Cabanas offers a wide selection of items that you should have no problem keeping yourself stuffed to the gills.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful\, but I would expect no less from Disney.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Having sailed first on the Disney Dream\, the Magic was noticeably smaller. However\, it was no smaller than other lines we have sailed. Despite being one of Disney's older ships\, you wouldn't know it. The crew keeps everything clean and looking brand new.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Having sailed on the Dream\, our stateroom was much smaller (same \"class\" of room)\, although our porthole was noticeably larger. However\, we spend minimal time in the rooms\, so size was not a critical issue for us. There were two of us in the room\, but trying to put a third or even fourth person in the room would have been unrealistic.

Pros: Disney customer service is the best.

Cons: Smaller ship so adult only sections not as large or well defined as on Dream.
