Review summary

The ship was lovely, our room was wonderful. We never felt crowded. The families that were on the ship seemed to be of a higher caliber. We did not see anyone over-drinking or being rude. The teenagers we saw seemed to be having as much fun as the small children.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Dining times were very convenient. The staff quickly sat you\, took your order and allowed you time to dine. Everything was extremely well orchestrated. The various dining rooms were entertaining for the children\, but relaxing for the adults. As a guest\, you sit with another family every night of your cruise. They do a good job of matching you with a family that has kids the same age and gender. The food was decent\, but nothing that I would rave about. We don't eat beef\, so I can't comment on that\, but the fish was often overcooked and a bit bland. The seafood kabob in Caraicos with the quinoa was the best meal I had. The snack food throughout the day was great kid food. I did like that they had wonderful fruit available all day long. For adults they had some more healthy choices\, such as the wraps. You will definitely NOT go hungry for one moment on this ship.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The plays were fantastic. Three different plays on three different nights. They were about 50 minutes long. The perfect length for children. They were outstanding quality. Both my son and daughter enjoyed them. The movie theater played all the disney movies and we were able to see Frozen and Monster's U. The port entertainment was fantastic. We went to Atlantis. It was a really great water park\, but after spending a couple hours there our children really wished we would have just gone to the beach. The sand is amazing and the water is warm\, calm and clear. We all really enjoyed the beach more than the water park. So if water parks aren't really your thing\, save the money and head to the beach.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The ship staff was really quite amazing. Every one that we encountered was friendly\, helpful and always available. We needed maintenance in our room and they arrived within minutes. The man caring for our room did a fantastic job and was so friendly. Our wait staff went beyond to make our trip great. We have a 12 year old boy and Willy\, our waiter\, did magic tricks and mind puzzles with him each meal. Our son looked forward to these each night. Our daughter was always treated like a princess by our drink waiter and given smoothies of her choice.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was immaculate and in good condition.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a balcony room and it was lovely. We did not spend much time out on the balcony like we thought we would. I still really liked having it because I get a bit claustrophobic it was nice to have fresh air and access. It appeared to me that the rooms with windows didn't actually open. You don't spend much time in your room\, because there are so many activities that you are really only changing and sleeping\, but if fresh air matters you should get the balcony.

Pros: The employees of Disney were amazing. Movies\, plays\, and accommodations.

Cons: The food quality was good during the scheduled meals\, but below our normal standards when dining out.
