Review summary

The cruise was exciting and fun. It does get a little crowded during sea days but that is expected. If the sound of children drive you nuts this is not for you.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and quick!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food is so superior to other cruise lines we were on. You really don’t need to go to specialty dining because it is so good.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The meet and greets with the characters are a must.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Disney shows. You can’t get these anywhere else.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
This is what it is all about!!!!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We had wonderful servers. Dan our main server took extra care with our grandson and his origami. Jackson the assistant server was also fantastic with his magic tricks. Our room stewards Heru and Chris went above and beyond to please. And Guest services were the highlight of the cruise. Especially Estephani!!!!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Always well maintained and no rust showing.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfect for two seniors or family of three

Ship tip

Get magic + bands

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

3 out of 5
No excursion but walk the streets and just like walking any other tourist trap town it is dirty and the vendors are pushy.

George Town, Grand Cayman Did not visit port

No interest and short window. Tendering is no my favorite.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

5 out of 5
What’s not to like. This is truly why we take this trip. Can’t wait for their new island to open.

Disembarkation

Thanks for sharing. Normally we cruise CCL. Did one seven day on RCL- Vision of the Seas. I really didn’t care for RCL, food wasn’t that good. How is it on the Disney Fantasy? My wife and I don’t have kids, and the only reason we going Disney Fantasy is my wife won this cruise. I don’t mean to sound like an ass. I love kids, most kids. Some parents let their kids run around, do what they want. No discipline, no manners. That’s the ones that are hard to tolerate. Honestly, this will probably be the first and the last time I cruise DCL. But do look forward to this cruise.
