Review summary

It was a really good cruise. The shows made it worth the money. The food was average, the ports of call were great, the service was mediocre, the decor and Disney ambiance were great, and the cabin was large enough for four.

The food was okay... Overall the food is better than the food on Carnival, about the same as Royal Caribbean, and not as good as the food on Celebrity. Sit down breakfast was better than the buffet. Buffet lunch was good.

Food was good but always a busy place. Best thing was the peel and eat shrimp.

We participated in character pictures, towel folding, and cooking classes. They were mediocre.

Buena Vista Theatre

We watched the second Avatar movie. The theater was comfortable, the film quality and sound system were excellent.

Service and Staff

I never had a conversation with our room attendant but our room was in order. Our wait staff was entertaining and warm but they struggled to get our orders right and the food was frequently cold.

The cabin was great. We stayed with our two young adult kids and had plenty of room.

Ship tip

There is no evening buffet, dinner is served only in the dining rooms. So if you have dietary concerns, state them early. Room service is not fast and choices are limited.
