Boat didn't stop at two ports. Captain said due to bad weather, which was bullsh--. The stabilizer was out and he lied about it and said the port was closed by the Port Authority. It was repaired at Caraway Key so we know it was a lie.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Embarkation was ok and seemed to go smoothly and quickly. This was one of only two highlights of this cruise.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
The food was the worst. The quick eateries served frozen pizza - I saw the stack prior to them being cooked. The chicken sandwich was cooked then stored in a drawer of warm water! The patty was literally as thick as a sheet of paper. We couldn't believe it! The buffet was boring and the restaurant service was atrocious, late, and they twice turned the lights up full to get rid of us - and we we still were eating due to the crappy service!
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Mandalorian episodes 1-3 and the latest Star Wars movie on a big screen was great. A highlight. Otherwise, you can't sit from bow to stern unless you watch the big screen which was so loud and distorted you can't make out the dialogue. People were the rudest...cut you off in line or just pushed past to get in front of you.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
The Storm troopers were a hoot. Their pre-recorded replies were hilarious.
Children's Programs
2 out of 5
Parents were so rude and stressed all the time. Cutting you off in line at every opportunity.
Service and Staff
1 out of 5
Restaurant service was awful. If I were in the real world, I would have left zero tip. They were so slow that the restaurant lights were turned up full brightness and we hadn't even been served dessert! Just awful.
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
No sitting from bow to stern unless you smoked or were sunbathing. No place to just sit and relax.
Cabin / Stateroom
2 out of 5
Cramped. Obstructed view.
Ship tip
Don't. Carnival is more fun, relaxing, better food for sure, and cheaper!!!
Yay! We got to stop to repair the broken stabilizer. The boat was much more stable after that. The beaches were ok and actually spent a nice time in the surf. Food was really good - 1000 times better than the boat. See my reviews elsewhere on that.

Best part of the whole trip. We took our own luggage off and got off the boat. We didn't even get to two of the ports! Some bullsh-- line from the Captain that the port was closed due to bad weather. The ship was rocking way too far for just bad weather and after we skipped all the ports except.for their own island, we learned the stabilizer was broken and they knew it prior to leaving home port. Crappy boat, crappy lying Captain, and crappy crowded rude passengers. Left me more stressed than when I got on. Thank God we didn't get the Chinese Virus!!! Never again will we try a Disney cruise.
Damn y’all getting this defensive over somebody’s review because they insulted your magical little cruise line, get over it. Respect others opinions my god
Honestly this is one of the most ridiculous reviews I’ve ever seen. Either you work for a different cruise line or just hated it going into it. First of all it is likely you didn’t Port due to bad weather not what you claim. I was on the same itinerary and we did not stop in Falmouth due to bad weather. It was disappointing but safety is their number one priority. It’s not fair to rate the cruise low due to the weather. I can’t wrap my head around the majority of the review but most of all the service. Disney has the best service out of all the major cruise lines. There is no way they would allow bad service. We’ve never had a bad experience with the service. Also the ship quality review is ridiculous. You say go on carnival but Disney ships aren’t covered with rust. They are constantly cleaning and repairing stuff. And it is simply not true that there is no seating. There’s a ton of seating you must just have ignored it. Not sure what cabin you had but Disney Cabins are average or above average space wise. And I’m sure your obstructed view was mentioned when you book it, usually those are cheaper. Having gone to all the children’s facilities they are super nice and are fun for all ages of children. You are probably just upset there’s no casino but all that space went to children’s activities. You also gave onboard activities a 2/5 rating, you can’t give your reasoning as other guests being rude that’s not in the cruise lines control. And Based on the review I can’t imagine you were very cheery. You probably should have checked your navigator there is always stuff going on. Your review is ridiculous please spare all of us and don’t go on a Disney Cruise again because clearly you have a terrible attitude towards it.
So many untrue statements in this review.
1) seating is literally everywhere on the top decks and the funnel vision is really easy to watch. We’ve watched countless movies and the distortion? That’s bull. I have pictures of how clear and legible the screens are.
2) you must not have seen how a lot of quick service spots are run. Dis ships always score near perfect on the CDC greensheets and are about as clean as a ship can be.
3) sorry your service was slow, did you talk to the headwaiter? Did you show up to dinner on time? We’ve had a 3 course meal and sat around drinking coffee until 1955 before they turned on lighting to turn over the dining room. Again, I call BS.
4) sorry you couldnt make port, mechanical failures happen. Your assumption that the captain would skip port because he didnt feel like working that day is hilarious.
This review is worth 1 star. 👍
I find some of this review to be untrue... no seating now to stern??? There are many chairs out there not sure where you were looking.. do u think Disney can control the rude people?? There are rude people everywhere you go and kids and as far as taking very long while eating you are not the only guest they have and they are trying to squeeze in several hundred people at once while your trying to eat and get served they are too... seems like you just was out to look for all the bad instead of good things... as far as the ship having issues that can happen at anytime that’s nothing not even Disney can control.. if they missed a port there is a darn good reason because that’s money for port and cruise so once again somethings Disney has no control over
To me missing those ports means extra sea days and they reimburse you for it too, so that would be a plus for me. Also, you were right, they Fantasy had a stabilizer issue and it caused the cruise right after yours to stop in San Juan instead of Tortola. Seems like you didn’t have a good attitude from the start though. I am sorry you didn’t enjoy but it sounds like cruising just isn’t for you. Hope you find a vacation you enjoy and stay safe out there.
I find some of your review to be true but granted you took the cruise and not me. I have done 3 Royal and 7 Disney cruises and cruised on all 4 Disney ships and find that hard to believe??? Disney might not be for you.
It definitely sounds like cruising is probably not for you since you didn’t seem to enjoy much of anything. Most people love it, but it’s not for everyone. It’s always amazing how many people who cruise think they know more than the captain on the sea conditions are and safety of docking.
