Review summary

I'm thinking this may be my last Disney Cruise. We have always loved Disnay cruises and the Great entertainment on board. Sorry to say that Major changes have been make reducing the number of shows on the ship. Looks like Disney is trying to make a great profit to pay for the new ships they ordered. !!!!

We just got off the magic 3 days a go. Still heart broken. Disney is worth every penny of the cost above a normal cruise line. But those saying they are reducing shows are correct. I didn’t mind as it freed us up to see some of the other fantastic entertainment . It was the weird time of the show that got us. We had to forget desert to make the tangled show and it must have been tight for the second seating too.

Well how do you expect to get over 5,360 luggage’s on shore in less than a half hour? Be appreciative that you actually HAVE your luggage and it’s in one piece not having a hole in it. Imagine yourself as a housekeeping person and have to carry luggage all the way to deck 1 and still have to do rooms, and another person writes the exact review about you. How would you feel? Of course this is coming from a kid who only studies how to be a Captain or a Chief Staff Captain for passenger vessels when I’m older so of course I don’t know the struggle but I do know how hard they work so at least be appreciative. Thanks. 😃👍

They “damaged” my luggage on embarkation day and they fixed it without me asking. Disney surpasses all expectations. I’ve been on over 30 cruises and to not go on a ship over the amount of shows is pretty sad. There’s so many other things to do that the shows don’t need to be one every night.

It’s sad because I always felt the entertainment was one of the best parts of the cruise.

I agree; entertainment seems to be going the wrong way.

I have been on many cruises with Disney including 11, 7, and 4 night cruise, they have always had entertainment every night with two shows nightly. An early show for late dining and a late show for early dinning. They would also have adult entertainment (a show)at one of the bars. This past cruise was not like that !!! On two different nights they repeated the entertainment from the prior night at 7:15.

I have seen there prices going up, 2 years ago a 4 night on the dream in 1st week of December was about $3100-$6000 depending on room now your looking at $4000 for same room, I understand cost of living and inflation but some of the stuff makes you as "Are they trying to drive people away or are they drifting away from the core values" I will still cruise Disney but it might be every 2 years now.... Still Disney will hold my Heart!

Number of shows depends on length of cruise. 3-4 nights have a show every night. Longer cruises will have 1 or 2 nights without a show. But it has been that way for many years.

What do you mean by reducing the number of shows? They don’t do a different show every night anymore?
