I wish I could do it every year - though I find the cost is prohibitive. I wish I hadn't done so many excursions and spent more time on the ship enjoying what they had to offer, but since it was our first time in those locations, it seemed appropriate to go onshore when we could.
Embarkation

I suppose it was as good as it can be. It was quick, but still chaotic. There was a rather cranky woman at the front of the line, directing traffic (which involved sternly telling our kids to move out of the path).
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Fantastic. We had two servers that were great with the kids. A particular highlight for us.
Palo

It was nice to get away from the kids for a few hours. The server was great - almost pushing is to stay longer and not rush. The food was somewhat similar to the other dining locations, but they did have a seafood table that was awesome.
Cabanas

Buffet for breakfast was good - food was always hot and plentiful. Staff were attentive. Always could find seats.
Onboard Activities

My kids loved the AquaDuck, though I found it too cold (can't blame the ship for the weather). The mini-golf was fun, and table tennis (challenging in the wind).
Donald's Pool

Late night movie watching in this pool was fun.
AquaDuck

Giving this simply because my kids loved it.
Entertainment

One of my kids loved the stage shows - I think he went every night to see something.

Service and Staff

Never had such attentive staff. I'll never looking at the staff in my local stores & restaurants the same.

Cabin / Stateroom

It was always clean. Sometimes I thought they spent too much time cleaning - had to wait a few times to get into the cabin.
Ship tip
Get there early for shows in the main lobby - good places to view fill up quickly.
Actually it was Playa del Carmen that we went to - xcaret. It was okay - mainly because the description wasn't very good. I thought it was going to be more guided more than, "Here's your afternoon - you can do whatever you want to now". The view was nice, and the river swim was fun.
This was a tough one to rate. Again, the excursion description was awful. They said it was a 30 minute tour (it was actually 90), and then 3 hours of free time (it was actually 45 minutes). They also forgot to mention there was a gorgeous pool you could use during the free time.
It was fast though a little early for me. Because we were the first dining (6:45 am), we were off the ship by 7:45 am, which was bad because our flight didn't leave Orlando until 2 in the afternoon.
Thanks for your review - sounds like a great trip! Keep in mind that Disney is very expensive for a large-ship line, so consider trying other lines too if you want to cruise more often. And then if you want to sail Disney again, just do it occasionally amongst the other lines. :)
